How Delta Assembly Member Guwor Splashes 300 Free Jamb Forms To Constituents

In what has become a yearly tradition for the member representing Warri South West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, Chairman House Committee on DESOPADEC has once again splashed 300 Free Jamb Forms to aspiring students in Warri South West. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report. The revered Delta State House of Assembly member representing Warri South West Local Government doled out the free Jamb Forms to his constituents yesterday at his office in Warri where the prospective candidates were all present to register for the exercise. Hon. Guwor gave out the free Jamb Forms through his Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) under the aegies of Guwor Emomotimi Foundation (GEF).It would be recalled that this is the second batch of the Hon. Emomotimi Guwor  free Jamb Forms scheme for aspiring students in Warri South West as the foundation kickstarted it last year (2020) with 500 Free Jamb Forms across the Local Government. In his speech, Guwor explained that the modalities to select the prospective 300 candidates for the Free Jamb Forms to write the 2021 UTME examination was drawn from aspiring students in all wards across Warri South West. He particularly charged the prospective Jamb candidates to take advantage of the exercise, stressing that it is only an individual that can determine what he or she can become, adding that they should all strive for the best. He continued that the foundation is also working on a scholarship scheme  to any deserving candidate that may score high marks with proof of admission, stressing that he is embarking on the scheme owing to the deep passion he has to contribute towards the growth and educational development of his people. Guwor said he will continue to embark on the project as long as he is in the Delta State House of Assembly. In his words: “I appreciate leader of Warri South West,  his Deputy, principal officers  and other members of the legislative arm, i also  appreciates my wife that has been so supportive. “My aim to carry on this project is not for funfare, this is not a political arrangement but my passion to contribute towards the educational development of our people, it is true that what you become in life is more important than what you studied. “I am a graduate, but now just like you, I also partook in Jamb and now I am a 200 level students. “I Charge all of you to take advantage of the free Jamb Forms, this is not a political jamboree, Governor Okowa has made it easier for students to get admission via the several universities in the state. “I am only providing the platform for you to climb up, I am also providing lessons for your Jamb, take it very serious, it is only you that can decide what you want to become. “I see great professors, great lawyers, great Engineers. The last Jamb Exercise recorded some successes but it was not satisfactory enough, but in all we are making arrangements for scholarships to some of you.”Work hard, don’t be deterred by any boy or girl, work hard to secure a better future, your tomorrow will definitely be better than today. I Commend parents for accompanying their children to the venue”.In his reaction, Rt. Hon. Emiko Odin Etuwewe, leader Warri South West Legislative House had particularly described Guwor as a man with vision, stressing that posterity will always judge him right for investing in education. Hon. Etuwewe  also charged the prospective candidates to take full advantage of the exercise, stressing that this is the journey of greatness in their lives. In their reactions, Destiny Mieseigha, from Azama ward 18, Blessing From Ogidigben ward 10, Simon Moses Ebipade from Okerenkoko ward 19, Eniye Atuma ward 13 as well as Godswill Peter, ward 19 had all in their speeches appreciated Hon. Guwor and his team for the exercises, assuring that they will not joke with the scheme as they will take full advantage of the programme to be successful.Meanwhile, it would be recalled that the free Jamb Forms scheme by the Guwor Emomotimi Foundation (GEF) is tagged “Ticket for the future “.
