In what has been described as a rare gesture in Eseimogbene community, Ward 7, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, the people have poured endless encomiums on one of their son, Barr. Alaowei Cleric, Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters for using his personal money to build a rest house for his community, Eseimogbene in Delta.
An undisclosed source from the community who hinted The Liberator Newspaper noted that the people of Eseimogbene have every reason to be happy and celebrate the kind gesture from their son, describing him as a true hero.
The source particularly prayed for more progress in the life of Barr. Cleric and all those that gave him the financial nerves to execute the historic structure, stressing that it is not easy for an individual to do such a project single handedly for his people as the project will greatly assist the community.
He noted that Barr. Cleric has made a glowing history for himself and the community, stressing that the people of Eseimogbene are happy and will be deeply grateful for the show of love.
He reiterated that if with such a position the renowned Niger Delta activist could remember his people, he wondered on what would become of him on what he will do for his people when given a higher position.
However, Alaowei had appreciated His Excellency, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro for making him to be part of the Stronger Delta Government under the command of His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as a Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters.
He said he will always be thankful to God for giving him a rare boss like the Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro.
When contacted, Barr. Alaowei said: “This is a community assisted project I have executed for my primary constituency, Eseimogbene in Ward 7, Burutu LGA. It’s a rest house. I want to thank my boss, His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Delta, DCN Kingsley Burutu Otuaro for giving me the privilege to serve in the Stronger Delta Government of Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa.
“Indeed, I give God Almighty the glory for giving me the opportunity to touch lives in my constituency through this Community Assisted Project.” From ALAOWEI, E. CLERIC, Special Assistant (Political) to the Governor of Delta State.Clerric
