Pained by the demise of Chief T. M Binebai (JP), the Olotu of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State and the Miyenkirigbolomowei of Iduwini Kingdom, Bayelsa State,  the member representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 4 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Chief  Hon (Barr) Macdonald Igbadiwei led other prominent Chiefs from ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State to condole with the Binebai family over the demise of their patriarch. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.Hon. Macdonald Igbadiwei who is also the traditional prime minister of Gbaran Kingdom drove down from Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State  to sympathise with the Binebai family.In his speech during the condolence visit yesterday, the traditional prime minister of Gbaran Kingdom recalled his encounter with the late high chief in both Iduwini Delta and Iduwini Bayelsa.

He continued that many years ago when he was about to formalize his marriage with his wife, the late Chief T. M Binebai (JP) who was a pioneer commissioner of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) that represented the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality acted as a father in his journey to formalize their marriage.

Hon. Macdonald asserted that  despite the age of anyone, it is painful to loss someone, adding that late Chief T. M Binebai was a good man as he has contributed his quota towards the growth and development of Ijaw nation and Niger Delta at large.

“This great historian that has left us to the world beyond, Chief Tom Michael Ogonibinebai (JP) is a respected man that i know very well, we have truly lost a great man in Ijaw nation, i have come here to condole with you people, please take heart, the multitude of people coming to condole with the family shows that our late father was a good man.” Igbadiwei stated.

However, Hon. Macdonald had promised to grace the burial ceremony of Chief T. M Binebai in April 2nd 2022, stressing that he will not hesitate to contribute his quota towards giving the late chief a befiting burial.

High point of the visit was the signing of Chief T. M Binebai’s condolence register.Chief Binebai was my counterpart in Iduwini Bayelsa – EkomieyefaOn his part, Septuple Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh, popularly known as the lord of KFT asserted that he will surely take part in the burial of Chief T. M Binebai whom he described as his worthy counterpart in Iduwini Kingdom, Bayelsa State as the Miyenkirigbolomowei.Speaking further, Chief Ekomieyefa noted that himself and Chief Williams Itima, the Peretunteriwei II of Gbaramatu Kingdom have come all the way from Gbaramatu to condole with the family, adding that the delegation was led by Hon. Macdonald Igbadiwei.KFT also enjoined the family of Chief Tom Michael Binebai to take heart, stressing that it is God that giveth and also taketh.Meanwhile, a renowned Niger Delta literary colossus Mr. Ekanpou Enewaredideke also joined the powerful delegation led by Hon.
