Ijaw Music: Godfrey Smooth Releases Two Albums To Thrill Fans, Calls For Unity

Ijaw music Icon, Sir Godfrey Smooth has recently released two intriguing and inspiring music albums to thrill fans across the Niger Delta region for the yultide season.
Godfrey Smooth, popularly known as the Numu Abiala 1 of Niger Delta made this known to newsmen in Warri recently via a statement, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

The music Icon had in one of the album called for the unity of Ijaw nation, using Odimodi community as a reference point, he noted that without unity there won’t be hardly any form of development, maintaining that development can only take place in a peaceful environment where unity reigns.
However, while calling for a more united Odimodi community, Godfrey Smooth also charged elders of Ijaw communities across the Niger Delta region to always do the right thing by speaking the truth always.
In the second album titled Ebiare (Good name), The Numu Abiala 1 of Niger Delta, uses the album to commend Chief Edward Prebor, Chairman of Odimodi and its federated communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State for doing well.
According to him, Chief Edward is maintaining good name as it is better than riches, he said it is same that made the paramount ruler of Iduwini Kingdom in Bayelsa State to confer a chieftaincy title as the Gbabramiemwei

of the kingdom.

Meanwhile, Smooth has called on the general public to go to the market by grabbing copies to rock the December, he said there is a track titled Christmas dance (Seibuwor).
