In what has appeared as a major boost to the musical journey of King Allen Alabor, the Ijaw Language Clinic in conjunction with Ebiegberi Foundation, (Lagos) have recognised the musical kingpin with an award as the Best Ijaw Culture Oriented Performing Artiste.
The so much talked about award was given to Chief Allen at Arogbo, traditional headquarters of Arogbo Kingdom, Ondo State in the widely celebrated and just concluded Arogbo day.
According to officials of Ijaw Language Clinic and Ebiegberi Foundation while presenting the award to the Induwini born musical king had maintained that Chief Allen is second to none in promoting the Ijaw cultural heritage, stressing that the groups have keenly followed and watched his musical activities over the years.
However, King Allen on his part have described the award as ” highly significant to him”, stating that he is highly amazed at the award as he was taken completely unaware.
He maintained that the award will continue to give him more musical energy to more than ever promote the Ijaw Culture, saying “I have found more strength in this award, the award is significant to me in many ways, I will not disappoint you, I will continue to live up to expectation”.
Meanwhile, hinting The Liberator Newspaper on the award, Chief Allen had stated that he is dedicating the award to the Lord Almighty for giving him such talent that is recognized all over the World.
The music mogul prayed for long life, prosperity and unprecedented wisdom for members of Ijaw Language Clinic and Ebiegberi Foundation, (Lagos) to continue to lead the people right, adding that all the awards presented so far shows how distinguished the groups are.
