Independence: Asupa Hails Okowa On His Stronger Delta Agenda, Appreciates Constituents

Member representing Burutu North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, has hailed His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for delivering on his Stronger Delta Agenda.

While hailing the Governor on his developmental strides across the state, Hon. Forteta who doubles as the Chairman standing house committee on peace and security had called for the sustainability of ethnic harmony in Delta State. 

The lawmaker said Nigerians despites the different religions must learn to tolerate each other, stressing that peaceful coexistence among citizens of the country remains the antidote of one Nigeria. He said in unity, Nigeria will always surmount its daunting challenges.

Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, popularly known as the political holy Michael, the Odogboru and king of youth empowerment in Delta State had assured the people of Burutu, his primary constituency of better days. 

The political holy Michael made his independence statement in Asaba at the wee hours of today via a statement signed and issued to newsmen by his Senior Legislative Assistance, Engr. Akpi Michael, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers. 

In his words: “The member representing Burutu 1 State Constituency in the DTHA and Chairman, House Standing Committee on Peace and Security, Hon. Asupa P. Forteta bids his constituents on the occasion of the 60th independence anniversary of our great nation Nigeria. Despite the daunting challenges we face as a nation and people, i am very optimistic that, we will surmount them all in unity, peace and brotherliness.

“Furthermore, i enjoined all and sundry to join hands to build a stronger Delta State, as encapsulated in the electioneering campaign Mantra of our road Master Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa”.
