The Ijaw Political Whatchdog Worldwide (IPWD) has invited the general public particularly Ijaw sons and daughters to its 2nd year exclusive annual convention.

Information released by the organisers said the event with the theme ” The voice of the Ijaw Nation” will take place under the distinguished chairmanship of High Chief Wellington Bobo.

It also added that the convention will take place on 14 December 2019 at Okuemi Hotel, Bendel Estate Warri beginning from 10 am.

Comr. Austin Ozobo, National President, Ijaw Peoples Development Initiative, IPDI and a former Delta State House of Assembly aspirant will be guest lecturer to speak on the topic ” what will be the place of the Ijaws in Nigeria politics in the nearest future.”

Prince Perez Bibaikefie, former aspirant of Delta State House of Assembly under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP will be second speaker to do justice to the topic ” where the Ijaw nation belong to as the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria.

While the last speaker of the day, Dr. Clarkson Aribogha will talk on ”Unity among Ijaw Leaders”

Special guests of honour expected at the event include Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu federal constituency, Hon Shedrack Agediga ED DESOPADEC, Hon Emman Ambgaduba, Hon commissioner for Oil and Gas, Delta State, Hon. Asupa Forteta member representing Burutu North, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, member representing Warri South West in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Others are Comr. Daniel Ezekiel SSA on security, High Chief Afro Biukeme, former Delta state governorship aspirant. Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, member representing Burutu South, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Braduce Amakazi Angozi, former commisioner for agriculture and former governorship aspirant Delta State.

Guests of honour are Amb. Alapala Ebitonmo, former DTHA PDP aspirant, Hon. Stella Agidee SSA on party Liaison, Georgina Evah SSA on women development, Chief Mrs Esther Bibi Owei aka Warri mama, Hon. Godwin Masah former SA to Okowa and a host of other dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion.
