After what seemed like eternity, the leadership crises that had engulfed the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC Worldwide has been brought under control with a call on stakeholders to desist henceforth from acts capable of bringing the revered youth body to disrepute again.

There have been leadership crises rocking the apex Ijaw youth body which led to the factionalization of the council at both national and zonal level.
The ugly development prompted the intervention of patriotic minds from the western zone who have been appealing for calm and reaching out to key players involved in the dispute and eventually secured the understanding and commitment of both parties to work together and jointly called a stakeholders meeting of the Western Zone IYC.
The deliberation at the meeting was a robust one with stakeholders appreciating the efforts of Barr. David Otutufegha and his team in collaboration with other leaders at the national level to facilitate the meeting.
