Newly elected Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Chairman of Diebiri Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr.  Moriss Esegha has promised the people of Diebiri to deliver uncommon leadership during his tenure as Chairman of the Ijaw Youths in the Kingdom. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

The youth leader in Diebiri made the vow recently in Warri while addressing the press shortly after collecting his certificate of return from the 2021 Ijaw Youth Council Clan Electoral Committee led by Comr. Napoleon Kenerekedi.

Speaking further, Comr. Esegha while opining that he will not joke with the interest of Diebiri Kingdom had reminded His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State to resettle the people of Diebiri back to their ancestral headquarters sacked by the people of Aladja years ago.

However, the Diebiri IYC Chairman said it is unfair for successive governments in the state to treat the case of Diebiri with insincerity, stressing that his administration will use peaceful means to drive home their demands, urging Governor Okowa to be fair to his people.

He continued that the peaceful disposition of the Diebiri people should not be taken for granted.

Meanwhile, Esegha had assured his people that he will only do things that will be of interest to Diebiri Kingdom and not the other way round.
