IYC Secretary: Bakumor Blast Rumour Mongers, Insists He Is Very Much In Race – The Liberator

A renowned Ijaw traditional advocate cum Egbesu apostle, Comr. Ellington Bakumor has blasted rumour mongers, clarifying that he is very much in the race for the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC Worldwide Secretary general.
The Egbesu apostle made the clarification yesterday via a statement he personally signed and circulated to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
Bakumor while debunking the rumour stated that his supporters should remain calm as those behind the said rumour are afraid of his rising profile cum aspirantship.
He noted that it is no longer a news that some persons are jittery about his coming out.
He said he has no plans to step down for anyone as consultation is on top gear.
Speaking further, Ellington noted that those spreading such falsehood should be seen as enemies of the Ijaw nation.

I am still in the Race To The End
Dear Ijaw Nation,
My resolve to serve you vigorously is renewed every passing day.
There will never come a time I will faint in tiredness of my servitude to you.
Hence, any one who has been whispering false claims of a betrayal to Ijaw Nation by selling lies of a purported step down is an enemy to my personal growth and a blackmail of my Zeal to serve Ijaw Nation.
I therefore want to reaffirm my commitment to the pursuit of a Progressive Agenda for Ijaw nation through my humble request to serve as the Ijaw Youth Council National Secretary.
I am committed to the pursuit of Globally recognized Ijaw Youth Council for their contribution to Growth of Ijaw nation and Humanity.
