Jking to perform live today at grand finale of Idumunimi-Amanimi festival of Obotobo – The Liberator

According to information made available to The Liberator Newspaper indicates that popular Ijaw music kingpin, Alfred Izonebi, alias Jking will be performing live today at Obotobo I community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Ijaw music Icon will thrill the gathering tonight as the three days Idumunimi-Amanimi festival metamorphosed to its grand finale today.
However, the Executive Director ( ED ) , Planning, Research and Statistics, PRS, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), His Excellency, Amb. Comr. Shedrack Agediga will be chairman of the historic festival today at its grand finale.
According to an information announcing the festival, signed by the duo of Mr. Joseph Monday, Chairman Planning Committee and Comr. Perezide Oruezonemi, secretary stated that the ancient festival will dovetail to its grand finale today Friday 7th of February 2020 at Obotobo I community.
The Organizers have particularly invited sons and daughters of Ogulagha kingdom, Niger Delta, particularly descendants of Obotobo I community and members of the general public to grace the ancient annual festival.
However, it was learnt that the Royal father of the day His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt) Joseph Timiyan, JP, Torubobou I, Agbonu, the paramount ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State also be attending the powerful grand finale.
Others include, Double Chief Felix Ebah, Obotobo I community chairman as Chief host while Mrs. Patient Temewei will grace the festival as Chairlady as well as dignitaries from all works of life that will be storming the grand finale of the festival tomorrow.
Dramatic display of Agula masquerade, dance procession as well as other interesting activities have been billed for today’s superlative grand finale of the festival.

Meanwhile, yesterday Thursday which marked the day two (2) of the festival saw a novelty football match between Obotobo 1 old timers vs obotobo 11 old timers.
