Jubilation as Delta State Deputy Governor, Otuaro Endorses Waffi Tv Skills To Stardom Show – The Liberator

There was massive jubilation as the Delta State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Barr.(Deacon) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro endorsed the WaffiTV reality show, tagged “Skills to stardom ” 2020 maiden edition.

The Deputy Governor made the endorsement on Tuesday in his conference hall, Government House Asaba, the capital of Delta State during a courtesy visit led by the Chief Executive Officer of Waffi Tv, Pst. Arex Akemeotubo and his crew.
Otuaro who on behalf of the Delta State Government endorsed the WaffiTV reality show noted that the Government will be committed in ensuring that the programme gets the needed support both conducive environment and otherwise.
While commending the Waffi TV CEO, Pst. Arex Akemeotubo for the feat recorded in the media industry and business in general, Barr. Otuaro heaped praises on the record breaking owner of the fast rising brand, Waffi TV, stressing that he is becoming an entrepreneur of high repute in Nigeria.
Deacon Otuaro maintained that having Television Station is not a small feat, adding that Delta State is proud of him.
“You are becoming an entrepreneur of high repute, you are indeed making Delta State proud. Having a Television station as a young man is not a small feat. I also want to use this medium to encourage other young entrepreneurs to take advantage of the reality Tv show to gain relevance in the market space”. Deputy Governor Otuaro stated.
In his swift response, Pst. Arex lauded the Deputy Governor for granting his crew audience, stressing that his kinds are rare in the Delta State politics.
Speaking further, Akemeotubo had assured the Delta State Government that he will not let them down, stressing that he will ensure that he operates within the ambit of the law and would contribute his quota for the betterment of the society in general.
He explained that the skills to stardom 2020 initiative is a reality TV show that is solely designed to empower Nigerians nationwide, saying that subsequent editions of the laudable reality TV show will cover the entire African continent.
He said sixty selected youths who must be skillful in fashion design, graphics design, singing, hair styling, dancing, shoe making and other innovative skills will slug it out in the skill to stardom house for sixty days.
He said that the contest is opened to all Nigerians that have acquired the skills either formally or informally and all applicants must have attained the age of 18 as at September 2020 noting that the program will be aired on WAFFI TV and other national television stations as well as Social media platforms for 60 days.
The CEO therefore urged interested persons to obtain the form at the rate of N 5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only which is Non- Refundable and payable on the WAFFITV App before proceeding to fill the form online ”Sales of form begins Friday 21st of February 2020 and ends last week of March.” He added.
Pst. Arex disclosed that audition for the show will commence first week of April, 2020 and will be done regionally covering at least 11 states as the sixty contestants will emerge after the audition but assured that those who will not make through the audition will be given free skill training and equipped with all necessary materials .
He explained that anyone that losses out at the first week of the eviction stage will go home with N500,000,00, while second week goes home with N 1,000,000, those evicted at the third, fourth, fifth and sixth week will get N1,500,000, N2,000,000, N2,500,000 and N 3,000,000.00 respectively.
Meanwhile, Pst. Arex noted that winners of the reality TV show will smile home with the sum of N20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira) each.
