Jubilation as Pondi hands over renovated six classroom block to Oboro in Delta – The Liberator

Primary education gets a boost in Oboro community, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State as the member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, Hon. Julius Pondi completes renovation of six classroom block building and handed over to the community.
The project Deinbonogha primary school in Oboro community was done as part of his constituency project to the people of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State which according to him is inline with his vision to boost primary education in the predominant rural Local Government Area.

While presenting the renovated six classroom block to the people of Oboro community, Hon. Pondi reiterated that delivering effective representation and influencing development to the people of Burutu Federal Constituency remains his primary concern.

Pondi maintained that the people of Oboro and by extension the Burutu Federal Constituency should expect more from his representation, adding that he is committed in giving the local government a facelift in the national assembly.

He assured the people of Burutu Federal Constituency that he will do more on education across Burutu Local Government Area, stressing that he appreciates the people of Burutu for their supports so far, adding that never will he joke with their supports.

However, during the hand over ceremony yesterday in Oboro community, chairman of the community, Sir Ebikeseye Oloye and Etukiye Gbenekepreye, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP leader in the community all heaped praises on Pondi, maintaining that his representation has been fruitful, productive and all embracing.

They particularly described the young federal lawmaker as a man with purpose, adding that he will go far politically in Delta State and beyond.

Gbenekepreye had also appealed to Hon. Julius Pondi to assist the school with school desks, chairs and other writing materials, a request the house of representatives member promised to look into.

The ceremony was well attended by community leaders, party leaders, lovers of education including the headmistress of the primary school, youth leaders as well as others too numerous to mention.
