Jubilation In Sapele As Chief Eyenmi Receives Community Development Icon Award – The Liberator

There was massive jubilation earlier today in Movig Hotel Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State following the award of High Chief (Alaowei) Ebiwei Eyenmi as Icon of Community Development.

The rare award was presented to the revered chief of Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local government Area of Delta State by the National President of Ijaw Entertainment Forum, Mc Abioka Karenade, popularly known as Niger Delta Prince of talk.

Prince Abioka, a leading Niger Delta Master of Ceremony before presenting the award to Chief Ebiwei noted that the many years of selfless service to humanity in Egbema Kingdom, Delta State and Nigeria at large earned him the award.

He said the Ijaw Entertainment Forum under his leadership has been keenly following the humanitarian activities of Chief Eyenmi over the years, stressing that the forum decided to honour him with the rare award in order to spour him to do more for the advancement of society.

It would be recalled that Chief (Alaowei) Ebiwei is the chairman of Oil rich Dibi host communities in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, a position he has used in changing and transforming lives in Egbema and beyond.

In a swift reaction, recipient of the Icon of community development award, Chief Eyenmi who is also the CEO/MD Miyenpere Global Resources Limited stated that he is surprised to receive such an award from the Ijaw Entertainment Forum, stressing that he dictates the award to the Lord Almighty, the people of Egbema Kingdom and Niger Deltans as a whole.

The Dibi host communities chairman particularly assured his people that the award will definitely spour him to do more in the service of his people and humanity.

In what appears even more interesting was the fact that the award presentation ceremony dramatically coincided with the birth anniversary of the recipient, Chief Eyenmi.

The Liberator Newspaper can report that Chief Eyenmi Ebi is the Ibe-Egbewei of Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local government Area of Delta State.

A background study of Chief Ebiwei reveals that his philanthropic gestures cuts accros student groups, orphans, widows as well as indigenes of Egbema in cash and otherwise.

Supervisory Councillor of Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Ebenezer Bigha has described Chief Ebiwei as an emancipator and trail blaizer, stressing that he is proud of him.

He continued in his speech by declaring that if Sapele had gotten five people like Chief Eyenmi, things would have been much more better than the way it is.

Ebenezer particularly pleads with all those occupying different leadership positions in Egbema Kingdom to emulate the good leadership virtues of Eyenmi.

The event was well attended by representatives of communities constituting Egbema kingdom.

Notable among them include Hon. Ebenezer Bigha, supervisory councillor in Warri North Local government Area of Delta State , Mrs Eyenmi, wife of the recipient, Mr. Peter Eyenmi, Comr. Abacha Ogbudu with the host of several others who massively turned out to grace the occasion.
