Jubilation Rocks PDP Ward Eleven Caucus In Burutu LGA As Chief Evans Emerges Chairman

Jubilation on Saturday rocked caucus members of Ward eleven (11) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State as Amb. (Chief ) Evans E. Etimigba, JP, PICMC emerged chairman of the caucus. The Liberator Newspaper can report  

The Liberator Newspaper can report  that Chief (Hon) Godspower Akiefa also emerged Vice Chairman of the ward eleven (11) PDP caucus in the Local Government Area which was hugely celebrated by the various stakeholders that attended the meeting.

Other members of the ward eleven (11) PDP caucus include Comrade Humphrey Oluku and Hon. Amu Itoto emerged Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively.

The change of new leadership in the caucus was seen as echoes of harmony and political understanding among the political titans in  the Ward 11 PDP.

However,  in the light of the above, the Ward 11 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Caucus has deemed it  necessary to hold its inaugural meeting on Saturday the 26th of September 2020. 

In his words,  Amb . (Chief ) Francis Boumiebi,  immediate past Chairman of the ward eleven caucus said: “The political ideologies of the Peoples Democratic Party are worth upholding at every tenureship to usher in fresh ideas guided by the ethics geared towards achieving the needed results. To birthe the required outcome we need the synergies and results-oriented ideas of all.”

The immediate past caucus executives ably led by Chief Amb. Francis Boumiebi, SSA to the Governor on Political Matters was full of thanks to the forum for giving him the necessary  support during his chairmanship which has brought about a transparent transition. 

He advised the new executives to work hand in hand with the leaders and seek opinions where necessary.

Other speakers at the inaugural meeting emphasised the importance to uphold the legacies of the party, and the need to always dwell together in peace and unity so that the aspirations of the party will become productive.

In his swift response,  the new chairman on behalf of his executives, Amb Chief Evans Etimigba had  thanked the Lord Almighty and the ward leaders for finding them worthy to paddle the canoe decorated with the caucus responsibilities. 

He was full of commendation for the outgone Chairman , Chief Francis Boumiebi’s led administration for galvanizing the ward caucus to an enviable feat.

Meanwhile,  Chief Evans had  expressed their willingness to foster stronger unity, reaching out, and building connecting rods or measures in projecting the interest of the ward within and beyond the ward. 

“The new executives are trusted to succeed in ensuring a caucus well regulated and properly organised which would also serve as a veritable platform to wheel for political benefits for the ward. It will work together with ward excos to provide the necessary synergy, to also facilitate peace and unity among members of the political class at all times.” Amb. Evans stated. 

Meanwhile, the duo of Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives and Amb. Comr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director (ED), Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS), Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) also graced the maiden meeting of the caucus at the Teebulous Hotel in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. 

In their separate messages, the duo had all described the emergence of Chief Evans, Akiefa, Oluku and Itoto as a welcome development for the caucus and the PDP family in ward eleven (11), stressing that they are all strong hands in the party, pointing out that they are not in doubt that the new leadership will perform well.

Leaders that attended the meeting include Hon. (Chief ) Combulos Ekisah, Vice Chairman, Burutu LGA, Hon. Joshua Evene, Councillor representing Iduwini ward, Hon. Isaiah Ingo, Hon. Isaiah Bekenawei, Comr. Victor Isereke, Comr. Godwin Oro, Comr. Solomon Gbegha, Mr. Teddy Benikurukuru, Engr. Perez Bibaikefie  as well as others too numerous to mention.
