Apex youth leaderships of Kou and Iduwini kingdoms in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have condemned in strong terms the attack on Sterling Global Dredger in Agge river.

The youth groups are reacting to the recent attack on Sterling Global Facility by unknown gunmen in Agge river that resulted to abduction of three foreigners, death of soldiers that has led to panic in the area.
They noted that Kou and Iduwini, two neighbouring kingdoms are known over the years for their peaceful dispositions, stressing that such worrisome development is alien to them.
The duo of Mietuade and Nelson regretted the incidence, describing it as barbaric, calous, wicked, unacceptable and unfortunate, stressing that they totally condemned the act.
Speaking further, the statement had particularly charged security operatives, expecially the military to go after the culprits and bring them to book, adding that such will serve as deterent for anyone who would want to carry out such evil plan in the nearest future.
In their words: “We condemn this unfortunate incidence that happened in our river, we are very peaceful and hospitable people that have been living with our tenants peacefully over the years, we wonder the type of strange elements that would want to cause trouble for we and our tenants, this is really sad

“In light of the above, we therefore urge security agencies, particularly the military to go after these strange elements with enough intelligence in order to track them down.” The statement added.

The youth leaders noted that owing to the unfortunate incidence, panic has engulfed residents of the area with fear of military action against them.

“Our people can’t sleep, both our aged mothers, fathers and children can’t sleep with their two eyes close, we also would want to thank the military for their professionalism so far “. They stated.
