A Niger Delta Youth Leader, Amb. John Dekawei, alias ambassador of good has celebrated the revered traditional ruler of Arogbo Kingdom in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, His Imperial Majesty, Pere (Barr.) Zacchaeus Doubra Egbunu (JP), Opukutu III, the Agadagba of Arogbo on his birth anniversary.
The Niger Delta Social Crusader cum philanthropist issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Lagos yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Amb. Dekawei whose birth blood cut across Arogbo Kingdom described the revered Niger Delta traditional ruler as a blessing to his people and the entire Niger Delta region, stressing that his reign as king of the ancient Ijaw Kingdom has brought about serious transformation across the Kingdom.
He noted that his emergence as king of the kingdom has brought unprecedented development, stressing that he is optimistic that the Agadagba of Arogbo Kingdom is working assiduously for the total liberation of the kingdom from the shackles of underdevelopment.
Hailing the Arogbo paramount ruler, Dekawei had enjoined all sons and daughters of the Kingdom to continue to sustain the existing peace across the Kingdom, stressing that all sons and daughters of the Kingdom must be in one accord for its total liberation.
In his words:”It will not be right if I fail to congratulate the great king of Arogbo Kingdom on his glowing birth anniversary. I thank and appreciate God for this special day of our King’s birth anniversary. On behalf of my family and the entire constituencies that I represents, i celebrate you on this day.
“It Is my prayer that the Lord Almighty shall continue to guard and protect you, your reign shall usher in more progress and even development throughout the kingdom” Leader Dekawei opined.
It would be recalled that Amb. John Dekawei is the Founder and Chairman of the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) he has used in transforming lives across the country.
Amb. John Dekawei is also the President general of a revered Niger Delta Socio Cultural group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), a group he has used in raising the banner of good governance in Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
