The launching of The Liberator Newspaper earlier scheduled to commence on the 8th of June 2019 at Okuemi Hotel, Bendel Estate Warri has been shifted to Saturday June 15th 2019 at same very due to the forthcoming Ijaw National Congress Election, INC that coincides with the earlier scheduled date.

This was contained in a press statement issued to newsmen, signed by Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of the Newspaper, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, a copy of which was sent to our media outlet.
Princewill had further regretted whatever inconvenience this might have caused the general public and critical stakeholders of The Liberator Newspaper.
According to him, all arrangements are still ongoing in a larger scale, promising that the event is coming out bigger and stronger.
In his words: “The interest of Ijaw nation is very key at this our trying times, the Ijaw National Congress, INC election happens to be slated on June 8th, which was suppose to be the same day for the launching of The Liberator Newspaper, due to calls from prominent personalities, we have to take the descision of shifting the event 7 days ahead, it was not an easy descision for us to take as the earlier date had been heavily publicised and lots of invitation had been tilted towards this direction”.
Meanwhile, Binebai had noted that the shift will enable him and his team prepare bigger and better as lots of the unveiling will be taking place beginning from today till the day of launching.
Nevertheless, he had invited members of the general public to grace the occassion by turning out in their numbers at Okuemi Hotel, Bendel Estate, Warri on the 15th of June 2019 for the progamme.
