A youth leader in Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, Delta State, Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore, popularly known as young Chief has called on the people of Aladja in Udu Local Government Area to quit from the demarcated land belonging to the Ogbe-Ijoh people urgently.

This was contained in a statement personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today by Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

The youth leader had particularly called on His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State to be politically strong enough to call the people of Aladja to order by quitting the Ogbe-Ijoh land that the people of Aladja is still occupying.

However, he stated that no one has the monopoly of violence, adding that the people of Ogbe-Ijoh have tolerated their Aladja counterparts enough.

Speaking further, beside calling on the Governor as Chief Security Officer of the state, Youkore had also called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the military to tell the Aladja people to vacate their land.

According to him, the continued occupation of the Ogbe-Ijoh land by the Aladja people is already breeding bad blood among his people, stressing that there is a limit to everything in life.

Mamamu said since the resurgence of this crisis, the people of Ogbe-Ijoh have always maintained peace and have always been on the defensive side despite provocations.

Bene continued that the calmness of the Ogbe-Ijoh people does not mean that they are lazy, adding that they are only maintaining peace, noting that if they continue to remain in that parcel of land, the people of Ogbe-Ijoh will have no choice than to use any available means at their disposal to defend their territory.
