One of the aspirants in the May 25 People’s Democratic Party PDP guber primary  in Delta State Sen. James Manager has reacted to the outcome of the election.

Manager’s reaction came shortly after the results of the primary held in Stephen Keshi stadium Asaba was announced and the speaker of the state house of Assembly Sheriff Oborevwori declared winner.

Oborevwori garnered a total of 590 votes, followed by David Edevwie pulling 113 votes with James Manager coming 3rd position with 83 votes.

Reacting to the development via his verified Facebook timeline yesterday, the Senator who is currently representing Delta South senatorial district was full of thanks to both his supporters and Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa .

He said “I want to thank God Almighty for his mercies and grace upon my life. I also want to thank my teeming-supporters, and well-wishers for standing and identifying with me in these times.”

“Finally, I wish to particularly thank my brother and wonderful friend, H.E Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for all he has done for, and with me. Yesterday has come and gone, Today is with us and tomorrow is yet to come.”

“God bless Delta and her People.” He added.

However, Manager did not give any hint on his next political move.

Other aspirants who contested the primary include, the Deputy Governor, Kingsley Burutu Otuaro 9 votes Commissioner for Justice Mrakpor A. Peter 9 votes Fred Majemite 6 votes, Chief (Dr) Braduce Angozi, 2 Votes .
