The Senator representing Delta South, Sen. James Manager has challenged the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to provide evidence that he collected contracts as alleged by the commission.

According to information personally signed by the lawmaker on his official Facebook page and obtained by The Liberator Newspaper on Monday,  Manager said he was writing to clear  the air on the confussion been created by Cairo Ojougboh in NDDC.

He noted that his tenure as chairman, Senate Committee on NDDC ended in 2015 and has never visited the commission’s office in Portharcourt or any other branch for whatever reason.

He disclosed that the NDDC has never awarded contract to any company owned  by him “I do not know of any company owned by me, that has ever gone into bidding of Government jobs anywhere in the world.( This may come to many as a surprise but this is the gospel truth).” He added.

He warned those who are working hard to defame him to desist from such.

The Senator challenged the NDDC and Cairo Ojougboh to come open with detailed description of the said jobs, names of companies, payments already made and to whom, job performance as well as the directors as they appear in the Corporate Affairs Commission.
