There was massive jubilation in Delta as a young Niger Delta philanthropist, Ernest Bebenimibo, founder of a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) was recognised by the United Nations (UN) with a global peace ambassador award.
The award was officially conferred on him during the induction ceremony organised by Representatives of the United Nations in Delta State in their General Meeting on the 4th of December, 2021 at the State Capital, Asaba.
The founder of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) who has joined the league of United Nations Peace Ambassadors had while addressing the press vowed to continue to use his new elevation in adding more value to society by preaching peace at all cost, stressing that peaceful coexistence among humans remains the bedrock of all meaningful development.
According to him, he will continue to see his peace ambassador award as a call to render more service, stressing that he will not dissapoint those behind his nomination and his subsequent induction.
However, Ernest Bebenimibo had earned the respect of many in the Niger Delta region owning to his philantropic gestures via his foundation that he has used in transforming the lives of many in the region.

Meanwhile, Ernest Bebenimibo had dedicated the UN Peace Ambassador Award to the Lord Almighty, adding that it has been God all the way that made it possible for him to be recognised with a global award, stressing that he considers the award as a special one.

Ernest Bebenimibo is now to be addressed as HIS EMINENT AMB. DCN ERNEST BEBENIMIBO (JP).
