Mulade Appreciates Gbaramatu Monarch For Honouring Him With A Chieftaincy Title – The Liberator

A global advocate for good governance and environmentalist, Amb. Comr. Sheriff Mulade has appreciated the paramount ruler of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom for honouring him with a high ranking and first class chieftaincy title as the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The prestigious traditional title of Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, which means “Kingdom Lifter and the Hope of Society and Humanity” in the Ijaw dialect was given to Mulade recently by the revered traditional ruler of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The national coordinator of the Center For Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ), High Chief Amb. Comr. Sheriff Mulade made this known to newsmen in a statement he personally signed and circulated in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

Chief Mulade had also appreciated the Gbaramatu traditional council of chiefs for his nomination which gave birth to him becoming a chief in the kingdom, stressing that the conferment is indeed a call to duty.

Speaking further, the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom had further appreciated sons and daughters of Gbaramatu Kingdom in their unflinching supports over the years for the traditional ruler.

He maintained that since the ascension to the highly coveted throne as the king of Gbaramatu Kingdom by Aketekpe, Agadagba, the kingdom has witnessed unprecedented peace and development in all ramifications.

He had prayed for long life and prosperity for the king of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

ROYAL APPRECIATION

I, Comrade (Chief) Mulade Sheriff, do sincerely appreciate Your Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun the 2nd, Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West LGA of Delta State, for recognizing and honouring me with the prestigious traditional title of Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, meaning *“Kingdom Lifter and the Hope of Society and Humanity.”*

I also acknowledge the cooperation of the great Gbaramatu Traditional Council of Chiefs in the process for this amazingly uplifting title, which has granted me access into the Council to sit among the most respected traditional chiefs in the kingdom.

I equally express my gratitude to the entire sons and daughters of Gbaramatu Kingdom for their unrelenting support for His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II, Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, ( aka, Monarch of the Niger Delta) in his quest towards attracting sustainable development to the kingdom, the entire Delta State, Niger Delta Region and Nigeria at large, through peaceful coexistence, purposeful leadership and communal cohesion.
