A veteran Ijaw traditional musician, Chief Kingsley Takemebo, alias the golden voice has stated that while growing up, his dream was to become a writer but the Lord Almighty gave him music as his destiny.
The reigning Ijaw music luminary made the revelation recently during a media chat with The Liberator Newspaper in Warri

, Delta State.

Chief Kingsley Takemebo noted that he is very proud and happy for what the Lord Almighty has been doing in his life through the music career, stressing that he will continue to use his God given talent to advocate for a better and decent Ijaw nation.
Speaking further, the highly rated Ijaw musician explained that the painful demise of his father actually prevented him from furthering his education to become a writer, noting that the Lord Almighty knows his heart better hence he has given him music which according to him is closely related to the writing business as a way of compensating him.
Chief Takemebo maintained that the death of his lovely father caused him a lot of pains and setbacks, but however, noted that all that is now in the past as life goes on.
He said his greatest challenge as at then was not having a sponsore to further his education, adding that it was such feelings that made him to be commending Ijaw writers and activists both young and old via his scintillating music albums.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that the Ijaw music gazzele had released couple of music albums addressing pertinent issues bedeviling the Ijaw nation as a people.
The musician had assured Ijaws and Niger Deltans that he will continue to advocate through his albums for a better Ijaw nation, promising that he will not let his fans all over the world down

as they should expect the best from him.
