Clever Igere during the weekend hosted an inter-school competition among schools in Ogulagha kingdom on Saturday 2nd of November 2019 in Ogulagha commuity, traditional headquarter of the kingdom.

The NAOCS National President while presenting his welcome address to students and critical stakeholders of the kingdom harped on the importance of education in the liberation of society and Ogulagha Kingdom in particular, he noted that education remains the only antidote to development of society in any strata.

Speaking further, Comr. Clever Igere had particularly appealed to the leadership of Ogulagha Kingdom to sponsor indigenous students that are undergoing Masters Degree Programmes at the different learning institutions across the country.

He had described the issue as a burning one, stressing that such matter should be viewed critically as its gains cannot be overemphasized.
However, Clever also decried the lack of teachers in government schools across Ogulagha kingdom, insisting that such anomaly should be corrected immediately for a solid education foundation for younger ones in the kingdom.

The welcome address reads in part: ” Education is by all means the most efficient tool for the liberation of the mind and thus one of the most important single achievement of the human mind.

“I believe that it is in recognition of the above, Our esteemed guest, NAOCITES and the competing schools found this time in their tight schedules. It is in this faith that I welcome you all to this all important inter school competition in Ogulagha kingdom.

Amongst the growing concerns of lack of teachers in public schools in Ogulagha kingdom, our students have continued to show resilience by working hard enough to still assert the brilliance of their fathers before them in their academic work. I commend their steadfastness.
