New Year: Guwor Assures Constituents Of Robust Leadership, Preaches Peace

Member representing the people of Warri South West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Guwor Emomotimi has assured members of his constituency that he will deliver a robust and qualitative leadership to them.
Hon. Guwor, chairman Delta State House of Assembly standing committee on Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC made the promise in his new year message to the people of Warri South West.
Guwor often described as a pace setter in the Warri South West politics by political pundits in the area made this known to newsmen in Warri yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
Speaking among other vital issues, the young visionary lawmaker had admonished the people of Warri South West to always sustain the existing peace in the Local Government Area, stressing that there can’t be any form of development without peace.
However, he lauded the people for their calm and peaceful disposition so far, adding that the Ijaws and Itsekiris are one, vowing that nothing can divide them as a family.
Meanwhile, Emomotimi promised that whatever his leadership will be embarking upon will always be going to both sides between the Ijaws and Itsekiris.
In his words: “We share common interest especially in infrastructural development deficiency and environmental degradation. Our people must come together to fight poverty which has no boundary lines, we must collectively work for the improvement of our people as successes that would be recorded in 2020 depends on the choices we made by both the leadership and followership
“I am optimistic that Warri South West would not go back to the dark days of insecurity and strife. I have greater expectations that we shall do more for our people
“We must therefore show love for one another, kind to one another and work for peaceful and harmonious coexistence in our communities. As we reflect on the true meaning of the new year and God’s abiding love to mankind, may the joy of the season and God’s loving kindness abide with us in 2020 and beyond. “
