Obituary: Mama Diefugha, aged 83 journey’s home today  – The Liberator

The families of Binebai, Ofouware quarter in Ofougbene, Beke of Ogisibodo quarters, Obetebe town, both of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State and Moun, Waine Quarter in Aghoro town, Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has announced the death of their mother, wife grandmother, aunt and sister, Late Mama Diefugha Alice Ekpetipu, Nne Binebai.

She died at the aged of 83

According to the Burial announcement as signed by Capt K. Bunuzigha and Chief Tom Binebai, ( JP) on behalf of the children and family respectively, noted that the deceased will be buried on Friday, 6th of March 2020.

The information said the burial activities commenced on Wednesday 4th March 2020 with Service of Songs by the God’s delight Family Assembly aka Free indeed at Ogodogun street, off Udu road Warri Delta State between 4pm to 5:30pm (Yesterday).

On Friday 6th March 2020, Her remains will depart Venell hospital to Miller Waterside, from there it will proceed to her hometown in Burutu, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Late Mama Ekpetiku passed on, Friday 29 October 2020, leaving behind relatives, 8 children and 18 grand children.

It was further learnt that a rising Ijaw music icon, Chief Kingsley Takemebo will thrill audience till dawn.

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased had invited friends and members of the general public to grace the burial ceremony of late Mama Diefugha, stressing that all arrangements have been concluded to take care of guests.

Until her painful demise, she was the only surving sister of Chief T. M Binebai, (JP), the Olotu of Iduwini Kingdom and former commissioner, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.
