Obituary: Regina Doutimi Set To Pay Last Respect To  Her Boss’ Father, Pa Omatiemola in Warri – The Liberator

Hon. Regina Igangan, serving supervisory Councillor in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, wife of Amb. Doutimi Amos shall be paying last respect to her political mentor’s late father in the Ijaw socio-cultural style.
She described her political boss, Dr. Hon. Andrew .O. Igban, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development “as a man sent by God to better humanity. He has been phenomenal and a source of teaching self-esteem and reliance who has stood by me in all moments of adversaries. He has metaphorically personified a father in my political career.” she asserted.
Late Snr. Ap. Prince Edwin Omatiemola Igban-Omagbemi (The Olare-Aja of Ugbori aka Ogban) who joined his ancestors at the age of 82 will be laid to rest at his country home of Ugbori, Warri in Delta State as stipulated in the order of programme.
In another statement conveyed to the Liberator Newspaper, Hon. Regina Igangan said, “Late Pa Edwin Omatiemola was like a grandfather to me. His children are just like their father, most especially Dr. Hon. Andrew .O. Igban. They all possess the good traits of their late father. It’s sad to acknowledge that he has joined his progenitors to rest in peace”.
In this moment of bereavement, I will stand by the entire family of the deceased which has taken me as one of their own to give him the last respect on Saturday 29th February, 2020. We shall forever miss PAPA and his caring love”, she concluded.
The funnel programme dates its activities from Thursday 27th February, 2020 through Saturday 29th February, 2020 but as it would be of necessary clarification in form of invitation of family, friends and the general public to join the DOUTIMIS for a tributary ceremony.
SATURDAY 29TH FEBRUARY, 2020 has been designated for the Ijaw Traditional Ceremony to honour the deceased.
In the above light, music shall be Supplied by PRINCE ABRAHAM DONOKOROMOR (The Numou-Pere of Isaba Kingdom) from 11AM at the deceased residence, Omagbemi Lane- Ugbori, Warri.
Giving nod of appreciation and joy to this conscious and dignified arrangement,Hon. Dr. Andrew .O. Igban, a son to the deceased, and the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development expressed joy over the news that Amb. Doutimi Amos and family alongside friends shall be coming in full Ijaw traditional regalia to pay their last respect to his late father.

, Hon. Regina Igangan is using this medium to invite all her leaders in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State and beyond to join her boss in paying last respect to his father on Saturday 29th February, 2020.
