Obotebe students to hold 10th annual convention December

The National Union of f Obotebe Students (NUOS) has announced its 10th annual convention for the year 2019 holding in December.

According to information signed by President of NUOS Comr. Tare Philip Magbei and made available to The Liberator Newspaper on Thursday, the theme of the convention is ” The Education agenda, Rethinking Vocational Education. ”

The event will take place on the 26th and 27th of December 2019 under the distinguished chairmanship of Barr. Jerry Otuaro while the Ag Rector of Delta State School of Maritime Technology Burutu Engr. Akpoyibo Famous will be the guest speaker.

Also, the Ebenanowei of Obotebe kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Warewini Arikawei (Ogisi 1) will be the royal father of the day, and retired chief town planning master, Lands and Survey Thomas Torukro is special guest of honour.

The information further said Mrs Preye Victor Okou, Hon. Spencer Takeme and Bishop Joel Adonyai will be present in their capacity as Chairlady, Chief host and spiritual father of the day respectively.

Other activities lined up to mark the event include, lectures, football competition, quiz, sanitation, commissioning of ICT center, health talk and historical knowledge
