Odidi Ex-warlord Writes Buhari For Urgent Revocation Of Neconde Oil License In Delta OML 42

Leader of former warlords in Odidi Federated Community, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Don Banky has written President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently revoke the oil license given to Neconde Energy Company Limited to operate in OML 42.
Don Banky made this known to newsmen in Warri yesterday on behalf of the former warlords in Odidi via a statement personally signed by him, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
Banky maintained that writing president Muhammadu Buhari to revoke the oil license given to Mr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi, Chief Executive Officer of Neconde Energy Company Limited has become imperative following the perpetual enslavement of Odidi and other host communities in OML 42 since he took over the facility.
The former warlord while decrying the level of underdevelopment in Odidi and other host communities stressed that Neconde’s only visible agenda is to impoverish the people as there are too many unresolved and lingering issues between the host communities and Neconde Energy Company Limited in the facility.
In listing some of the issues, Banky said despite the free flow of oil in the facility over the years, Neconde would not pay indigenous contractors promptly as the company would be owing them 16, 14, 12 and 10 months as the case may be before releasing one month payment for them.
The former warlord added that the Oil and gas with which the Lord Almighty blessed his people with is not a curse as they have suffered too much in the hands of Neconde and the entire Obijackson group of companies in OML 42.
The Ex-agitator stated that Neconde and its Chief Executive Officer must now begin to think of how to pack their belongings and leave the facility for peace to reign as his people can’t be feeding the world and be dying in poverty with nothing meaningful in their lives and communities.
The statement while calling on Governor Okowa of Delta State as Chief security officer of the state not to see their actions as disrespectful, noted that they have been pushed to the wall by Neconde Energy Company Limited as they are left with no other choice than to fight for their economic survival as a people.
Banky maintained that the Odidi Flow Station will remain shutdown until the needful is done to address the lingering issues as they won’t entertain any room for further manipulations by Neconde Energy Company Limited.
Meanwhile, Mr. Don Banky had also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to order the urgent relocation of the floating dockyard back to Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
