Odofori Congratulates Tarakiri Monarch On Presentation Of Staff Of Office

Chairman of Tarakiri Kingdom Structure of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Comr.  David Akpokabo-wei Odofori has on behalf of his Exco congratulated His Royal Majesty, Dr. Owoupele Danlandi Foubiri, Angulu 1, the Ebenanaowei of Tarakiri Kingdom, in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State on his presentation of staff of office by the Delta State Government. 

The Chairman of Tarakiri Kingdom IYC issued the congratulatory message to newsmen on Thursday the 25th of November 2021, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

Comr. David Odofori while congratulating His Royal Majesty, Dr. Owoupele Danlandi Foubiri, Angulu 1, the Ebenanaowei of Tarakiri Kingdom on the presentation of staff of office had appreciated the Delta State Government for the presentation of staff of office to the Monarch, stressing that better days are here for the people. 

Speaking further, Odofori had expressed optimism that the King will use his highly exalted throne in changing the ugly developmental narratives across the Kingdom. 

He maintained that the Tarakiri Kingdom structure of IYC under his command is ready to serve the King whenever the need arises, praying that long may he reign to see the Tarakiri of his dream. 

It would be recalled that the Delta State Governor was represented by his Deputy, Barrister Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, who expressed government’s appreciation to the traditional rulers in the State for their remarkable support. 

Barrister Otuaro noted that traditional rulers are instituted authorities empowered by law to confer chieftaincy titles on deserving persons and advised traditional rulers in the State to exercise this power with diplomacy. 

The Deputy Governor while congratulating HRM on his ascension to the throne and eventual presentation of staff of office had charged him to discharge his responsibilities in an exemplary manner.
