Ogbanabou Marginal Field: Pondi Grassroot Movement Congratulates Kestin On Oil License Award
A group under the aegis of Pondi Grassroot Movement (PGM) has congratulated Chief (Engr ) Kestin Pondi, Managing Director (MD), Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited (KMPSL) on the recent award of Petroleum Prospecting License (PPL) for Ogbanabou Marginal Field (PPL 213) in Delta State by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
PGM issued the congratulatory message to newsmen via a statement personally signed by the national coordinator of the group, Comr. Roland Dede, member of the Delta State Waterways/Land Security Committee, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide earlier today.
National Coordinator of the Pondi Grassroot Movement (PGM), Comr. Dede Roland had described the award of the Ogbanabou Marginal Field License to Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited as a reward for hard work.
According to him, the Ijaws that are major producers of Oil and gas in Nigeria have over the years been deprived from having oil license to operate a marginal field as much as others do in the country.
The group had commended Chief (Engr ) Kestin Pondi for the resilient, determination and strength with which he used in pursuing and bidding for the license, stressing that his vision and determination paid off for good at the end of the day.
Comr. Dede Roland continued that himself and his group is happy that Chief (Engr ) Kestin Pondi and all stakeholders of Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited has broken a positive record in Ijaw Nation.
However, PGM had admonished Niger Deltans, particularly the Ijaws to always dream big, stressing that one day, those who pursue their dreams will smile too, adding that the Kestin Pondi’ s determination to succeed at all cost should be emulated by right thinking Niger Deltans.
Meanwhile, Comr. Dede asserted that he has no iota of doubt in him that Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited under the command of Chief (Engr ) Kestin Pondi will fully deliver by productively handling the Ogbanabou Marginal Field for the good of the nation just like other reputable oil and gas companies.
