Youths of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom in Delta State have replied the youth Chairman of Aladja community in Udu Local Government Area over a recent publication he made on behalf of all the youths in Aladja community.

The Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom Youth President had asserted that the statement issued by the Aladja Youth Chairman, Elias Chipi is self contradictory and a ploy to cover up for the  alleged atrocious deeds of the Aladja people against Ogbe-Ijoh.

The reply was contained in a statement personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri yesterday by Comr. James Etimadimene Seyefa, Youth President of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

President James Etimadimene had while calling on security agencies to bring the perpetrators to book asserted that the 14 days Ultimatum issued by the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom Youths should not be taken for granted, stressing that the ultimatum stands.

The statement reads in full below:

A COUNTER RESPONSE TO A PURPORTEDLY COOKED AND FALSIFIED CLAIMS BY THE ALADJA YOUTH CHAIRMAN, ELIAS CHIPI

The attention of the youth president of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom was drawn to a spurious publication made by the Aladja youth chairman dated 8th November, 2021.

Ordinarily I wouldn’t have responded but for the sake of the public and clarity, I will reply.

Firstly, I would as a matter of necessity and for the  records draw the attention of the Aladja community youth chairman to paragraph two of its publication. “I quote in your statement” The Aladja welfare movement which is the youth body of Aladja community, condemned the unfortunate incident that led to the death of the cleric by suspected hoodlums in Aladja community.

Secondly, if the Aladja youths claims not to have knowledge of Pastor Sylvester Yerinbide’s death, then why affirming it in paragraph two of their publication.

Thirdly, if truly there is element of Truth in your claims, that the youth president of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom made such a self implicative and derogatory statement, that Ogbe-Ijoh people are the ones burning their own houses, how come such an important information is being kept all these while in the dark until now, all these while I have been confronting the Aladja people both in WhatsApp, Facebook and publication, would I be bold enough to do that, if truly I made such statement? It’s obvious that has been your style to gain attention.

Fourthly, in your publication, the Aladja community youth chairman, Elias Chipi claims I told him personally but to my greatest surprise in our meeting with the CO in 3 Battalion in effurun Barack on the 8th November, 2021. The president general, Mr. Otto Ogbiruveta claim he was the one I told, this drama of claim is what I am yet to comprehend, your claims are already contradictory and falsified.

Fifthly, in your publication, you falsefully claim that Sylvester was warned by Ogbe-Ijoh people not to visit Aladja anymore, it will interest the public to note that, before the death of the cleric, the CAN chairman of Warri South-West, Pastor Rockefeller was harassed and threatened on the 2nd oct, 2021 while coming to Ogbe-Ijoh, his bike man was returned, he had to treck on foot to Ogbe-Ijoh, on the 10th of October, 2021. Pastor Sobai Abigail was harassed and returned back to Ogbe-Ijoh, same day, a redeem pastor who was coming to Igbe-Ijoh for a fellowship was harassed. Pastor Sylvester who was recently murdered was threatened by Aladja youths on the 14th and 22nd October, 2021 before he was finally attacked on the 29th and died 30th October, 2021 while going to Aladja to attend an all-night service at redeem Christian church of God. All these incidents occurred at the same spot where pastor Sylvester was murdered close to the Mopol Van at Aladja community.

Sixthly, With all these facts and relating to paragraph two of your publication, it is clear and undeniable fact that, Pastor Sylvester Yerinbide was murdered by Aladja youths.

Seventh, the name Okpolokpo in your publication has never in the history of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom be a name of anybody. Okpolokpo means plank in Izon language, it has never been a surname or first name of any person in Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom.

Eight, the boy you claimed to be mentally derange in your publication was mentally stable until some group of Aladja youths had him intoxicated with hard drugs, and I was called by one Henry who is suspected to be the leader of those bad boys, the boy became normal after some medical attention.

Nine, it is a clear evidence even to the security men on ground of the burnt houses in Ogbe-Ijoh, the trace of footprint and all routes are directed to Aladja, Ogbe-Ijoh doesn’t have a fucknizer for people to gather tyres of that number. Before the burning of the houses, one Mr Omotie and others were apprehended with different charms and handed over to the Nigeria Police, Ogbe-Ijoh where the Aladja youth chairman, Elias Chipi came to identify them and pleaded for their release, since that faithful day, burning of Igbe-Ijoh houses has been in increase.

In summary, all the claims made by the the Aladja youth chairman, Elias Chipi in it’s publication was to cover up all the atrocious act towards Ogbe-Ijoh during the peace process.

Finally, since the Aladja community  youth chairman has affirmed in his publication that, it was hoodlums in Aladja that killed pastor Sylvester, therefore, we are urging the state government, all security agencies and the Aladja community leadership to immediately fetch out the perpetrators, else the 14 days ultimatum stands.

Signed:

Comr. James Etimadimene Seyefa,

Youth President Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom.
