The Ogulagha Kingdom Traditional Council of Chiefs in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have celebrated its revered monarch His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt) King Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), Torububor I, Agbonu, the Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom ahead of his forthcoming birth anniversary.

The traditional council of chiefs  had invited prominent Nigerians, Niger Deltans, Ijaws as well as members of the general public to massively grace the birth anniversary celebration at Obotobo I community in Ogulagha Kingdom at His Royal Majesty’s  palace, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

This was made known to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement signed by the trio of Chief William Igere- the bolouwei of Ogulagha kingdom, Chief Amb Francis Boumiebi JP, The Ogungbeinwei of Ogulagha kingdom as well as Chief Alfred Abu, the Dimienebimowei of Ogulagha kingdom, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

The statement had particularly maintained that the birth anniversary celebration of King Agbonu will be taking place on Saturday 27th of March 2021 at his palace in Obotobo I community.

Meanwhile, the Ogulagha Kingdom traditional council of chiefs noted that all arrangements towards hosting as many as possible dignitaries that would be storming Obotobo I community in Ogulagha Kingdom for celebration of its King’s birth anniversary has been concluded as one of Ijaw finest musician King Pereama Freetown will be live on stage to thrill dignitaries. 

The statement asserted that beyond the expected scintillating performance of King Pereama Freetown, there are series of other side attractions that have been arranged to add colour to the birth anniversary celebration of the revered Niger Delta monarch which include wrestling, dance troupe from Sapele and others.
