Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the apex youth body in Ogulagha Kingdom under the aegis of Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC),  Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Moses Agbobulagha has cautioned youths in the area not to make incendiary comments capable of causing tension.

Comr. Moses Agbobulagha while noting that peace is priceless maintained that youths should be mindful of their statements and comments they make on certain issues.

While cautioning youths in the area, the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC) Public Relations Officer had tasked youths to get a proper history and knowledge about their environments before speaking in public.

In his words: ” Ogulagha community is the legitimate host to SPDC and FORCADOS TERMINAL where the water disposal line is located, it is wrong for anyone outside Ogulagha to want to technically say that are the ones hosting such facility, it is unfair, let us always learn to respect ourselves by not infringing or encroaching on each other’s territories”.

He said lack of such history could give birth to incendiary statements that could ignite crises in a peaceful environment, stressing that youths must always see themselves as ambassadors of peace.

The youth leader made his position known to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement signed by him, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

It would be recalled that there had been counter and cross counter publications between the youth presidents of Odimodi and Ogulagha over some sensitive matters.

Agbobulagha is reacting to this matter, stressing that the two communities have been living together peacefully and should always learn to respect themselves by not bringing issues where there are none.
