Okaba, Pondi, Igali, Tuodolo, Graham, others stormed Tambou’s book launch in Warri

The City of Warri in Delta State was agog with high calibre of personalities from Delta, Bayelsa across the Niger Delta region on Friday as Comr. Preye Tambou launched his five books.
The Launching which took place at the Tobiz Event Centre beside Delta Career, along Airport Road in Warri saw the likes of Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, Abuja; Amb. Boladei Igali, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship aspirant in Bayelsa State; Dr. Felix Tuodolo, Special Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor on Niger Delta Affairs; Madam Rosemary Aken Graham-Naigba, president general Ijaw Women Connect, IWC, Worldwide with the host of other dignitaries.

In his opening remark, Amb. Bolade Igali, Chairman of the book launch had called on sons and daughters of Ijaw nation to tactically confront their pains in the Nigerian state.
According to him, the Ijaw nation is suffering but yet have not been able to identity and confront its challenges, stressing that the Ijaws are struggling because of equity and fairness in the Nigerian State.
The PDP Bayelsa State Governorship aspirant had called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to be fair and honest with the Niger Delta people, particularly the Ijaws.
However, he had lauded Tambou for writing five high powered books for launching, adding that the young author will no doubt grow to become one of the great leaders in the Niger Delta in no distant time.
Amb. Igali had further assured the young author of his continued support in whatever that he does, asserting that the privileged in the society must ensure that young talents are supported to get to the peak of their careers.

On his part, Prof. Benjamin Okaba, the book reviewer who is also a leading contender for the office of the president, Ijaw National Congress, INC has described Tambou as a great writer.

He had particularly recommended the books for the general public to read, noting that there are lots of knowledge that are to be gained from the five books.
Prof. Okaba, Dean Faculty of Humanity and Social Science, Federal University, Otuoke in Bayelsa State had noted that the Ijaw struggle for liberation is now taking a new dimension which he described as intellectual approach.
He had therefore, called on the Ijaw nation to always stand by young talents as the future belongs to the young.

Meanwhile, on his part, Dr. Felix Tuodolo, Special Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor on Niger Delta Affairs had tasked Preye Tambou not to be discouraged in his quest for writing books, adding that he will continue to stand by him.
The books, launched on May 10th at the Tobiz Event Centre include: ” The Joy of Reading, Readership Edges, Executive Dreams, Heroes, Many Trials, From Back Stage to Platform.
