OKYC, Ogulagha Kingdom IYC To Host Okotete Led Western Zone Exco Today

Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC) under the leadership of Comr. Justice Timiadi Akuna and the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Ogulagha Kingdom under the leadership of Comr. Samuel Ebiarede Uyadongha and others in the oil rich kingdom has concluded plans to host the Western Zone IYC led by Dr. Comr. Doubra Collins Okotete today in Ogulagha community. 

This was contained in a statement signed and made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide by Comr. Bright Guwor, Chairman of the hosting committee. 

Comr. Bright Guwor, Chairman of the hosting committee had noted that Okotete will be hosted on Friday 20th of August 2021(Today ) at Ogulagha community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State amidst other activities lined up. 

He explained that the entire kingdom is happy to see their son becoming Chairman of the Western Zone IYC, adding that the hosting was to prove to him that they truly love and cherish  him and to give him the necessary backing he derserves from the  kingdom, describing his emergence as historic.

Speaking further, Comr. Bright Guwor, former president general of Ogulagha community had on behalf of the committee invited sons and daughters of Ijaw nation, friends as well as members of the general public to grace the epoch making occasion on Friday 20th of August 2021.

However, he said arrangements are on top gear towards hosting as many as possible dignitaries that would be gracing the occasion. 

Meanwhile, he maintained that on entertainment, an Ijaw music don, Chief Kingsley Takemebo and his crew will be live on stage to perform, promising that there won’t be any dull moment as there are lots of events that are lined up to entertain dignitaries. 

Nevertheless, there are indications that a friendly football match between the Ogulagha Kingdom IYC structure and other youths of the Kingdom will slog it out this evening.
