Oml 30 Cluster 11: Jubilation As Heritage Trains, Empower 43 Indigenes Of Host Communities
There was massive jubilation across host communities in Oml 30 Cluster 11 Transforcados Pipeline, Delta State as Heritage Operational Service Limited (HEOSL), major operators of the Cluster trained and empowered not less than 43 Indigenes from the host communities with different skills.
Representatives of Heritage Operational Service Limited (HEOSL) in their remarks asserted that indigenes were selected from the host communities via the Cluster Management Committee that worked with other authorities in the host communities to ensure that capable persons are selected for the training and empowerment.
They asserted that Heritage Operational Service Limited (HEOSL) is doing the human capacity building programme to positively affect the host communities as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Before the empowerment, the Heritage Operational Services Limited (HEOSL) officials noted that the 43 indigenes were subjected to different training by experts in their chosen area of businesses for three months.
The areas the trainees were trained include Fashion and Design, Catering and baking, ICT (Computer) and Hairdressing/Make up.
The Heritage representatives said: “The greatest challenge Nigeria is facing is unemployment, what Heritage is doing is to make you people self employed.
“Heritage came to this area in 2018, we are covering 112 Communities, it is one of the largest company in Sub Saharan Africa. We have a lot of programmes geared towards contributing our quota in the development of host communities.
“We are charging beneficiaries to make judicious use of the empowerment packages to set up their own businesses. Heritage has a lot to do for the host communities. Our developmental plans are embedded in the GMoU between the company and the host communities. Heritage has come to stay, we are here to grow the Niger Delta economy. Just give us the enabling environment to operate.
“What we need is just the enabling environment for Heritage to operate, without the enabling environment, there will be a depletion of resources that will hamper the progress of the host communities. Host communities should always protect facilities in their areas. Better days are here for us” Aliu Solomon, Chief Williams Eberiemu stated.
Meanwhile, earlier in his welcome address, Pst. Philip S. Fianka had commended Heritage and its JV partners in maintaining a cordial relationship with host communities, stressing that beneficiaries should make judicious use of the various starter packs.

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to this epoch making occasion.
First and foremost, I am profoundly and profusely grateful to God Almighty for preserving us all to witness another unique, memorable and heartwarming ceremony as a cluster.
By the power bestowed and vested upon me as the chairman of cluster management committee (CMC), I further strive for the upliftment and building of more human capital development as a top priority in our host communities.
I want to commend the community relations department (CRD) and HEOSL for their relentless commitment to ensure this day come to limelight. And to all our beneficiaries of the 2019/2020 capacity building program, I want to charge you all to make judicious use of the starter packs that will be given to you.

While the Heritage Operational Service Limited and its JV partners was represented by the trio of Sir Aliu Solomon, Chief Williams Eberiemu and Williams E, the Cluster Management Committee (CMC) members include Pastor Philip S. It would be recalled that the Capacity Building Closing Ceremony of OML 30 Cluster 11, TFP (Transforcados Pipeline) 2019/2020 was done yesterday Monday 29th November 2021 at the Colourful Event Centre, DSC round about along Agbaro Express Road, Delta State.
Project Sponsors include Heritage Operational Service Limited (HEOSL) and JV Partners (NPDC) & SNRL) just as Training Consultants include Akpodee Global Ventures and Jonex Ekerefe Nigeria Enterprises.
According to Mrs Joan Cletus Akebofa, a beneficiary from Fashion and Design hinted The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide that she is excited and grateful to the Lord Almighty and Heritage for the training and empowerment.
In her words:” I appreciate it very well, I will make judicious use of these items since I have been trained and I have the passion to execell, I will make sure that I become an employer of Labour. The items presented to the beneficiaries include Power Generating Sets, Industrial Gas Cookers, Hairdressing sets, Industrial Sewing Merchines, Computers, Bakers, Ovens, Pots, Irons, Sewing Equipments, Tables, Hairdressing chairs and others.
A certificate of participation was also given to all the beneficiaries.
