Member representing Warri South West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has described the death of its late majority leader, Hon. Tim Owhefere as a big blow to the 7th Delta State House of Assembly and the entire state.

Hon. Guwor who doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) made the assertion earlier today in Asaba via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.

The young lawmaker particularly noted that the versatile wealth of experience by the late lawmaker will greatly be missed by the 7th Delta State House of Assembly and the entire state at large.

The statement reads in full below:

GOODBYE TO AN AWESOME COLLEAGUE: HON. TIM OWHEFERE (ESQ).

We will greatly miss the wealth of experience and coordination you brought to the floor of the House as one of the most senior members of the 7th Assembly.

We are all beneficiaries of your mentorship and leadership. In some of the most difficult times, you brought candour, share and provided guidance and generously offered your bank of knowledge to both new and old members of the house.

Your death came as a shock to me and I am still bereaved. It is difficult to believe that you are gone.

We have lost a fine lawmaker. Your death has left a major vacuum in the Delta State House of Assembly.

My deepest sympathies goes out to the OWHEFERE family, especially the wife and children and the entire 7th Delta State House of Assembly. It is my prayer that God will give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the great loss.

May God grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.

Adieu colleague!

Signed

Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor

Member representing Warri South West

Delta State House of Assembly.
