Ijaw youths in Obotebe Kingdom, Western Zone, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have congratulated Comr. Alfred Kemepado on his new appointment as Head of reintegration (HOR) in the Amnesty office.

This was contained in a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Warri yesterday by Chairman of Obotebe  Clan IYC, Comr. Okou Andaowei on behalf of Ijaw Youths in the Kingdom, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

Comr. Andaowei while congratulating Comr. Alfred Kemepado noted that he is optimistic that the Niger Delta youth leader will bring in his wealth of experience to productively move the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) to a greater height. 

Speaking further, the Obotebe Clan IYC Chairman had declared that so long as Kemepado will continue to protect the Ijaw Interest, he asserted that the Obotebe Clan IYC under his watch is ready to work with him whenever the need arises. 

However, Andaowei had further admonished Comr. Nimizigha to carry both people from the grass root along, adding that he should leave behind lasting legacies that will stand the test of time, noting that as a strong member of council, it is expected that IYC should benefit from his new position.
