PDP Chairmanship: Unity, Harmony Tops Apu’s Agenda – The Liberator

A frontline chairmanship aspirant in the forthcoming People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Congresses in Burutu Local Government Area, Hon. Tonkiri Apu have said that, his leadership will bring unity and harmony to the Party, if elected as the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in Burutu Local Government Area.
Hon. Apu disclosed this in Warri yesterday while addressing press men. According to him, the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) need unity and that unity cannot be compromised at this critical and challenging time of our nation’s democracy.
Speaking among other vital issues, Hon, Tonkiri noted that it is only unity that will make the Peoples Democratic Party more stronger than it is.
Hon. Apu has vowed that if given the mandate, he will ensure that the party reaches out to all its aggrieved members who have left the party temporarily for one reason or the other in the Local Government Area, Stating that, there is no other party in Burutu Local Government Area and we are one big family.
In his words: “The umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) is big enough to cover everybody and all interest will be accommodated.
“Therefore, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government Area need a capable hand to lead and unite the party. I am that unifying factor. I have the character and capacity to do that” Tonkiri Asserted.
