Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Julius Pondi, has consoled the family of Ebisine on the demise of their son, Sele Ebisine, Ph.D, rector Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu.

In his condolence message made available to newsmen in Warri earlier today, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper, Hon. Julius said the demise of the former Rector, Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu, is a colossal loss to Burutu, Delta State and the Ijaw nation at large.

According to the lawmaker, Dr. Ebisine was such a humble man who was committed to his job and service to humanity.

He described the former Rector as a man with the uttermost fear of God, easy going, lively to be with during his life time, adding that Ijaw nation has truly lost a great academic voice.

Hon. Pondi prayed God to give the Ebisine family, the people of Torugbene community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State and the entire Burutu federal constituency to bear the irreparable loss.

Pondi had noted that the history of the Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu will be incomplete without the mention of late Dr. Sele Ebisine, adding that he will forever be remembered for the accreditation of the school of Marine Technology.

The federal lawmaker had further noted that Ebisine left at a time the Ijaw nation needed him the most, particularly the growth and development of the Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu, Delta State.

In what the people of Burutu had described as dark day in the community and the institution, they stated that he will forever be missed as he has left a huge lacuna to be filled .
