Pondi Shows Gratitude To Burutu People, Vow To Add Value To Ijaw Struggle
Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi who won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary ticket for Burutu Federal Constituency has appreciated the people of Burutu Federal Constituency, Delta State.
Hon. Julius Pondi made the remark earlier today via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Pondi had particularly appreciated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the delegates, stressing that he is dedicating his victory to all leaders and his contemporaries of the party in Burutu federal constituency and Delta state at large.
Hon. Pondi had assured the entire Ijaw nation that as a national lawmaker, while Burutu Federal Constituency remains his primary constituency, he promised that he will add value to the Ijaw struggle for a better living standard in the Nigerian State.
He also urged the good people of Burutu Federal Constituency to vote wisely in the 2023 general elections, adding that those who plunged Nigeria into the current situation should be voted out of office, stressing that PDP should take over all level of government in Nigeria.

THANK YOU BURUTU!
Our dear citizens of Burutu, i am deeply grateful to our respected political party, the People’s Democratic Party~the party of value, for trusting me with its ticket to contest for the house of representatives in the 2023 general election. As preparations now begin in earnest, i dedicate the ticket to all leaders and my contemporaries of the party in Burutu federal constituency and Delta state. I shall remain committed to the fine values of the Ijaw nation that craves for social, economic and political emancipation. In the circumstance, I appeal to our people to work even harder to return our party, the PDP back to power at all levels in the forthcoming election. For the past seven years, Nigeria has been reeling under the heavy burden it placed upon itself through imade ts misbegotten election gamble of 2015. Therefore, my plea is that our people should vote wisely and reject those who plunged the nation into very excruciating pains in the past couple of years.
I sincerely thank from the bottom of my heart all components of our support groups for their gallantry.
I shall continue to work to uphold the best interest of the Ijaw people.
