Niger Delta human rights activist, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill has congratulated Chief (Hon) Ebikeme Clark, former Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State on his latest appointment as Special Adviser to His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State.
Amb. Binebai issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Asaba the capital of Delta State, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.
Binebai while describing the appointment as well deserving opined that Chief Ebikeme Clark, son of South South foremost leader, Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark have truly paid his dues to merit the appointment.
Princewill asserted that he had worked with him while serving Burutu as its council Chairman, adding that he is a capable hand in the system with so much to offer in the polity.
Speaking further, Yerin had prayed to the Lord Almighty to grant Chief Ebikeme Clark more political advancement in the nearest possible time, emphasising that Ebikeme is a round peg in a round hole.
In his words: “I on behalf of my family and the various constituencies I represents congratulate you on your latest appointment, I have no iota of doubt in me that you will deliver fully in your latest political advancement.
“The former Burutu Council Chairman is no doubt a perfect man for the job, it is my prayer that the Lord Almighty shall also grant him more knowledge and wisdom to deliver fully as usual “
Meanwhile, human rights activist had called on Chief Clark to use his new office to advice the Governor to ensure that the developmental imbalance in the state with particular regard to riverine communities be properly looked into.
