Ramadan: Mulade Tasks Muslims To Pray For Nigeria’s Economic Woes – The Liberator

The National Coordinator of Center for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, Comrade (Chief) Sheriff Mulade has urged Muslim faithful to use the Ramadan period to pray for the resuscitation of the declining world economies caused by the global out break of the dreaded infectious Covid- 19 disease.
In a goodwill message to Muslims to mark this year’s Ramadan, Chief Sheriff Mulade, the Ibe-sorimowei of Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, lamented that the COVID-19 pandemic has led to very poor health conditions worldwide, and enjoined Muslims to call for God’s intervention in the situation.
Comrade Mulade in a chat with newsmen in Warri on Friday May 22, 2020, charged Muslims in Nigeria to use the Ramadan period to pray Allah to grant the nation, all Nigerians, including Govt at all levels, health workers, traditional institutions, corporate organizations, industries and NGOs the ability and capacity to survive the prevailing global economic downturn caused by the pandemic.
Commenting further, Chief Mulade said the world is at a stand still as the global economy, healthcare, businesses, social life of the people, education and food production have all been negatively impacted. He however stressed that with special prayers during religious events, God Almighty is able to turn the world situation around for the better.
