A group under the auspices of Creek Dragons, have concluded plans to mobilize other groups and allegedly denied ex- agitators in the amnesty program to storm Abuja with a massive protest, calling on the presidency to immediately replace Prof. Charles Q. Dokubo.

This was made known to newsmen by the president general of Creek Dragons via a statement signed by self styled Gen. Freedom Adowei, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper yesterday.

It would be recalled that Creek Dragons is a coalition of different groups in the Niger Delta region.

The statement had revealed that the group had perfected plans along with other groups in the region to stage a powerful protest to Abuja for the immediate replacement of the amnesty boss, Charles Dokubo.

Explaining their grievances on the amnesty boss, the statement had noted that about 9000 ex-agitators are yet to be trained, others have been shortchanged while there is a bogus allegation of illegal diversion of funds meant for the amnesty beneficiaries.

In their words: “Over the years, there are people that have died in this amnesty program, what is happening to the funds of these people?, the money is not going to the families of the deceased, we really need to know where these monies are going to, the program has lost focus under Dokubo, too many issues here and there, we just can’t keep quiet in the midst of this unabated injustice”.

Meanwhile, Adowei had called on the general public particularly those with their amnesty identity cards that have been denied so far under Quaker to come out in their large numbers for the massive protest, adding that this the perfect and right time to get things done in the sanitization of the amnesty program.

The group had noted that most of the foreign students in the amnesty program have been stranded oversees since the assumption of Dokubo with many repatriated back to the country owing to their gross abandonment by the amnesty office.

The statement had opined that time, venue and more details about the protest would be made known to the public very soon.

The group had however noted that it has made arrangements for free buses to convey protesters to and fro from Warri to Abuja and the different locations within the Niger Delta region.

In their words: “We are looking at people from Ondo, Edo, Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa States that have been denied by the current leadership of the amnesty program, we will show to the world the many rots in the amnesty office, we can’t continue like this”.

However, the group had emphasized that the presidency must now turn their face to Delta state to choose a suitable replacement of Dokubo to provide serious leadership and direction.

According to them, they are aware that many are ranting on various media platforms, stressing that those are not even people that are part of the amnesty program but used to shortchanged beneficiaries of the program.
