Shocking As Delta Coronavirus Cases Rises To 74 With 17 New Cases – The Liberator

With the recording of 17 fresh cases of Covid-19 in Delta State, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus has risen to 74.

This was made known to Deltans and members of the public via a publication of the Delta State commissioner for information, Charles Aniagu on his Facebook Timeline yesterday.
The Liberator Newspaper can report that out of the 74 confirmed cases in Delta State, 15 cases have been discharged, 7 deaths as well as 54 active cases.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday also confirmed 387 new cases, bringing the total number across the country to 9302 cases.
The NCDC noted that Nigeria has recorded 261 deaths as well as 2697 discharged cases.

It wss learnt that from the information released by the NCDC yesterday, the 17 new cases in Delta was not reflected on their publication on Twitter.
