More is yet to come for my people – Pondi

There seems to be great hope for Nigerians as the Nigeria Shoreline Development and Protection Agency Bill, 2018 (HB 1508) sponsored by Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives passes third reading.

This was made known to newsmen in Abuja yesterday by the Personal Assistant, PA to Hon. Pondi , Comr. Victor Isereke who took to his facebook timeline shortly after the bill passes third reading on the floor of the house.

However, the bill when it must have undergone all the legislative proccesses to become a law in Nigeria following the assent of the President, federal republic of Nigeria will address many issues in Nigeria particularly flooding communities.

Meanwhile, Niger Delta rights activist, Comr. Napoleon Kenerekedi had described the bill as a welcome development to Nigerians, particularly to coastal communities in the Niger Delta region.

Napoleon while lauding sponsor of the bill had maintained that Pondi’s legislative sagacity in the house will continue to stand the test of time, adding that his archievements within his first outing will pose a serious progressive leadership challenge in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.

He had reiterated that Pondi has become a supersonic voice in the National Assembly for Nigerians and the entire Niger Delta, stressing that the bill when passed into law will lay to rest many eroding communities in the Niger Delta.

Nevertheless, Hon. Julius Pondi had promised that he will continue to add more value to his people, stating that more is yet to come.
