Takeme Congratulates Ukah, Agas On Appointments, Says Okowa, “A True Democrat”
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Delta South Senatorial District, Amb. Chief Dr. Julius Takeme (JP) has congratulated the duo of Hon. Patrick Ukah and Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas as Secretary and Chief of Staff to the Delta State Government.
The revered Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Delta South issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Asaba, the capital of Delta State earlier today via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Dr. Julius Takeme had while congratulating the duo of Ukah and Agas maintained that His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is a true democrat, stressing that the duo are indeed capable hands that will deliver fully in their various capacities.
The Delta State PDP chieftain stressed that on behalf of the entire PDP family in Delta South, the party celebrates Ukah and Agas on their well deserved appointments, stressing that they have served in different capacities to have merit the appointments.
According to Takeme, Delta as a state is witnessing uncommon transformation under the progressive watch of Okowa, adding that Governor Okowa is not only a trail blazer but an epitome of development to reckon with as far as Nigeria is concerned.
However, the Delta South PDP Chairman had urged Deltans to continue to sustain their supports for Okowa, stressing that their supports will continue to make the Governor concentrate for the even development of the state with laudable programmes and policies, adding that Okowa is one of the best thing that has happened to Delta State in recent times.
Speaking further, Dr. Takeme maintained that he is not in doubt about the delivering capabilities of Ukah and Agas, stressing that they should all continue to work hard in bringing the dividends of democracy to the people.
In his words: “I on behalf of myself and the entire family of PDP in the Delta South Senatorial District congratulate the duo, my prayers are with you as I have no iota of doubt in me that you will do your possible bests in putting smiles on the faces of the people, once again congratulations”.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that Chief (Dr) Julius Takeme is a former Chairman of PDP in Burutu Local Government, a former Burutu Local Government Council Chairman (Transition Committee), a former commissioner for Urban Renewal, Delta State with the host of other offices that he has handled meritoriously prior to now.
