Delta South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by its Chairman High Chief Dr. Julius Takeme (JP) earlier today visited Hon. Prince Dr. Michael Diden, popularly known as Ejele, Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) over the demise of his wife. Speaking on behalf of the Delta South PDP Senatorial Exco at the residence of Ejele in Effurun, Delta State, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Takeme asserted that Ejele as a chieftain of the party in the state and the senatorial district, the exco cannot seat back without coming to condole with him.

The Delta South PDP Chairman while  describing death as an inevitable end to mankind, stressed that the party under his leadership in the senatorial district have come to condole with him. 

He regretted that madam Ejele left at a time she is needed most, adding that she will forever be missed. 

Speaking further, Takeme had enjoined Hon. Michael Diden to be strong at this trying time of his life, adding that God giveth and he also taketh, maintaning that such a ill fated news shall never come near his family henceforth, noting that the exco receives the news with shock and great disbelieve.

However, in his reaction, the former Delta State House of Assembly member and present Chairman, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. Prince Dr. Michael Diden had appreciated the Delta South PDP Exco for sympathizing with him, stressing that he appreciates the visit. 

Meanwhile, Ejele noted that while he will forever miss his wife, he stressed that she has gone to meet her father in heaven who is the creator of mankind. 

Nevertheless, the DESOPADEC Chairman had prayed to the Lord Almighty never to allow any untimely death to befall all those that had come to condole with him, adding that though it is painful but God knows best. 

The Delta South PDP Chairman, Takeme was accompanied by some members of the senatorial Exco. 

It would be recalled that Hon. Smart Asekutu, Chairman Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State was fully on ground with leader Ejele to condole with him although. 

He also added his voice to appreciate the Delta South PDP Exco for finding out time to condole with Ejele, stressing that men like Hon. Diden are very few in the Delta State politics, stating that he is very proud of him for his courage and bravery despite what has happened to his wife.
